Honoring women who #choosetochallenge has been at the heart of Engagement Imperative. Today’s post is a look back at the all the articles from the previous months and years about and for women, who challenge the norm, challenge the situation and the cards they are dealt with.
I am for equality in rights, in chances and in opportunities. I do not, though, subscribe to the idea that men and women are created equal. My father and brother are very protective of my mom, me and my sister. And I still very much enjoy each time my husband opens car doors (and all sorts of doors for that matter) for me, which he does 100% of the time. But they honor us and respect what we think and have to say.
Also, I believe that honoring women should happen all year round. But of course thankful for this IWD reminder to celebrate us and how far our society has come in its journey towards equality and fairness.
