Day 5: Affirmations for Confidence

Day 5 of the 30-Day Confidence Challenge by EngagementImperative.com

How has it been in the past 4 days of your road to confidence?

Note: If you are seeing this for the first time today, you are welcome to join and please feel free to check – this is where you can begin.

We now have your purpose and goals. But while you can keep this private, I highly recommend to share these – your purpose and goals with your lead or friends, anyone you trust and ideally someone who is in this journey with you. So that, they can help you stay committed and focused.

And, now, for the fun part.

Affirmations. We will write a list again. But this time, it is a list of who you want to be. And state it in the present tense as if it is already who you are. As they say, claim it. I listed a few examples for you below. Really think about what you include in this list. Again as many as you like, but know that this one is something that I’ll ask you to read everyday until March 30th. Keep that in mind as you write. 🙂

Words of affirmation for confidence does not need to come from someone else. Also, try to avoid lifting from the net. But feel free to use it as reference anyway. It should be what you really want and anchored on your purpose and connected to your goals. Take a look at your purpose and goals write-up and make affirmations related with these.

Examples of Affirmations for Confidence:

  • I am confident.
  • I am respected.
  • I can communicate with others easily.
  • I can share my thoughts freely and eloquently.
  • I am valued for my contributions and for being me.

Although, this is crucial, it does not mean we leave everything to affirmations. We still need to do the work. Just reminding you of this, to be very clear that this is just part and parcel of our journey together.
